Qns: Which was the most important factor that you have considered while selecting the topic for today’s presentation? Why?
Ans:
I think the most important will be to inform the people.
I felt that people need to be informed rather than to be persuading. I think it is important for the presentation to have more information for the audience to understand. When the audience understand with the information, they will be able have the change of attitude. If we just feed them/brain wash them, this will cause the audience to only have temporary effect. What I feel that when one do a presentation, we need to leave an impression and long lasting impact when they leave the presentation.
I think the persuading is secondary rather than primarily. This is because, when people have the idea and understanding, all they need is a bit of persuading as their mind will be battling if they want to follow about things that we say or still do things their ways. By persuading and apply the call for action, we will help them make the right decision and the battle in the mind will not go on.
I hope this what the question is trying to ask, as through my own understanding, it seems to be this way. I also hope that today my group's presentation have not freak you out. I was trying to act/illustrate what was going to happen if there is really going to be a talk. Well, from today presentation I hope that I have not appeared that my wings are clipped as you mentioned before. =)
